International Food Day

Miss Cunningham
15.09.2011

On 7th September, Moorebank High School recognised multiculturalism through the celebration that was International Food Day. This event was organised and coordinated by the SRC, involving students from all ages and cultures. This day provided students with an enriching experience into some of the cultures that make up Moorebank High School.

The pinacle of the day was the lunch feast available to both students and staff. Prior to this event, the SRC circulated surveys to determine the top food choices and to collect orders. Students were then able to purchase food of their choice, experiencing a variety of tastes, from different parts of the world.

Thankyou to the SRC and Ms Wong for organising such an enlightening event, and thankyou to everyone for your support. The SRC looks forward to doing this again.
